Located within Chugach National Forest near Crown Point (CJMH+37P), approximately 24.5 miles north of Seward, this trail follows a gold mining route originally developed in 1910.
The terrain primarily consists of hard-packed gravel and rocky sections climbing steep switchbacks with sustained grades averaging 20%. Riders gain approximately 3,000 feet in elevation above the stunning waters of Kenai Lake, offering dramatic views and true alpine riding conditions.
